How to stop procrastinating on yourself

This week we´ll take a look at life goals and what they mean as well as how to achieve them.
To do the impossible, you need to ignore the popular
Often, our goals are a reflection of our own perception of the world.
And our perception is a reflection of our beliefs.
Which means:
What we´re capable of is ultimately defined on what we believe in.
Now, does this mean we can accomplish anything.
Well, kinda, yes!
If you look back in our history, many of the things humanity has been capable of accomplishing can seem far from reality, yet they still happened.
Our limiting beliefs are our biggest enemy and as crazy as it seems, changing them will unlock doors we´ve never considered before.
Use the questions in this newsletter to figure out what´s been holding you back, and more importantly, from what.
📜Quotes to start the week right:
“If the challenge we face doesn’t scare us, then it’s probably not that important.”
- Tim Ferriss
“Focus on being productive instead of being busy.”
- Tim Ferris
“‘Someday’ is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you.”
- Tim Ferriss
❓Ideas to ponder on:
Being grateful has been scientifically proved to be great on our health, specially our mental health. By practicing constant gratitude we increase the levels of dopmaine in our brain as well as improve our sleep and our immunity.
That being said, most of the people don´t find it an easy task to fulfill, that´s why I bring you the following excercise:
Imagine this.
You're 80 years old.
Everything hurts.
You're always tired.
Food tastes the same.
You're sick 90% of the time.
Moving yourself requires a massive amount of energy which, as days go by, you lack more and more.
Most of the people you´ve met are either gone or dead, and the sudden bursts of happiness you get from occasional visits fade away as soon as they leave.
Life has become more of a survival situation rather than something you truly enjoy.
At this point you're just waiting for it to be over.
One day you go to sleep as any other day and suddenly...... You wake up once again.
Eventhough it takes your brain a couple of minutes to actually wake up and work properly, you feel something´s weird.
Your eyes usually take longer to get useed to the morning light but this time, only after a couple of seconds you´re able to see clearly.
Your pale white room has suddenly become a colorfull one filled with pictures, wights, a couple of shoes on the ground and a huge TV on front.
What catches your attention is not the mess you´re in but rather the look of the tv.
Where you´re from TV´s don´t look like that anymore. This one looks…old.
So you decide to investigate. You get up and immediatly start wondering around.
But before looking any further, you realize something…your knee pain is completely gone!
What!
Not only that. Your back ache is gone as well.
You rush to the bathroom only to realize midway that you knew exactly where the bathroom is eventhough it´s not your house…or is it?
You reach the bathroom only to look yourself in the mirror and realize it´s you, like 50 years ago.
Imagine the shock!
Suddenly you start to see things differently.
Your friends are still around, so are your parents.
You have the energy to run, to jump, to do everything you’ve ever wished for.
There´s nothing that can´t stop you anymore. So you walk out the door and start making the most out of your day
Wouldn´t it be beautifull to start everyday like this?
What we have today can be someone else's ideal life. maybe it´s our future self.
Money comes and goes, but health, people, family, time...non of them do.
Cherish what you have today. You may not think much of it, but trust me, is way more than you think.
